In response to "The Inheritance of Abraham," a report issued by the Church and Society Council of the Church of Scotland, leaders of major Messianic Jewish organizations--the British Messianic Jewish Alliance (BMJA), the International Alliance of Messianic Congregations and Synagogues (IAMCS), the International Messianic Jewish Alliance (IMJA), the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America (MJAA), and the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations (UMJC)--have issued an open letter criticizing the report for faulty interpretation of Scripture, mischaracterization of Zionism and Israel's history, invalidation of Scriptural prophecy, and disregard for principles of justice.
